Opening the door to careers in data.
The Anumana Code Academy is a CPD-accredited Python course which we deliver to schools across Greater Manchester for free.
Partnering with The University of Manchester, we train University students to deliver the course, giving both teaching experience and confidence building skills for the Volunteers, and a free entry point for school students into coding who might not have naturally explored this as a career route.
The main objective of the Code Academy programme is to spark an interest in coding for children from disadvantaged backgrounds; the research is clear that careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
