Announcements

At Anumana, we recognise that the mental, physical and financial health and wellbeing of our people is pivotal to organisational excellence and growth. Our vision is to create an environment where our people are in great health and have the ability to thrive, both at work and at home.

We also believe that to truly leave a positive impact and legacy in the world with the work that we do, we must actively and consistently give back to the community and invest our time and money into worthy causes and endeavours.

As we prepare to scale the business, we have deemed it appropriate to create a role dedicated to the wellbeing of our staff and the social, environmental and ethical responsibilities of the business. With her existing position, of which Lucy has been instrumental in implementing a successful nutrition programme for our staff, it felt natural to extend her responsibilities to covering more than just the physical health of our staff. Lucy continues to prioritise her business, Lucy Patel Nutrition, alongside her additional responsibilities with Anumana.

The core responsibilities of the Director of Wellbeing will cover:

• Staff Wellbeing – to offer excellent physical, mental and financial wellbeing support to our people
• Social Impact – to give back to the community in a meaningful way, to organisations and people close to our heart
• Environmental Stewardship – to embed planet-friendly practices and environmental initiatives
• Ethical Responsibility – to always operate in a fair and ethical manner, through fair treatment of all stakeholders

“I am delighted to be able to expand my support with Anumana and be more involved in building out the ‘people’ side of the business. For me, the success of a business is a direct result of the health, happiness and productivity of its people.

Workplace wellbeing has gained significant traction in the last 12 months as working practices have changed in the wake of the pandemic. Businesses are now taking a much more active role in their responsibilities to ensure the ongoing health, both physical and mental, of their people. Healthy, engaged and supported staff are the biggest asset any business can aspire to have. Through this role, I hope to enhance the already strong Anumana ethos of being a truly people-centred business, where people come before profits, and that investment in people is investing in business success”.
